Hello everyone, I am joining you from rural County Durham in the north east of England, a few miles outside a tiny hamlet (apparently we are not large enough to be a village) called Brancepeth on the edge of Weardale. I have planted three Eucalyptus on our land, but they are only saplings at the moment so am swapping pruning for branches at a nearby physic garden for leaf supplies! As it’s autumn now I’m collecting sumac, apple, rose and oak to keep me busy over the winter.
Welcome Gillian. Great to hear about all your winter preparations.

Welcome Dorte, great to have you here!
Hi I live in Switzerland. I like to work very much with medical plants living here in the wild. Here in Europe we have lots of plants, they are known and used since the time of the celts… lots of traditions got kept, got taken over from the christs,…and lots also got lost by the invasion of the romans and the catholic church. I love to find out what the plants wants to tell us and what new power they want to bring towards us. I love to bring this power over to the fabric by printing and hoping these printed leavewords will talk to others! The nature gives us so much we must really take care of it and also safe the spiritual power of all the medical plants. Our future generations will need it more again.
I am looking foreward to grow slowly into your great courses. There is so much of helpful information. Thank you so much!
I love this so much Brigitte. What a great layer to bring to your eco printing practise. I also love working with some medicinal plants like St John’s Wort and herb Robert. Lots of them are great eco-printers because medicinal plants are often high in tannins, which makes them perfect for natural dyeing.
