this is such a great idea of folding the fabric. I have been doing tests but then always end up not knowing how I positioned the leaves unless I check all pictures. Thank you so much for sharing this.
I use the fabric dry usually, so I don’t have to worry about touching wet mordant. I know some other eco-printers do it wet, but I find dry fabric easier to work with.
Hello, this is Marilyn from Alice Springs, just a question about the iron mordant. My mordant has created a huge amount of foam, this sits on the top of the liquid. Do I stir this foam back into the mordant?

Yes, just stir the foam back in, that is very normal.
