Advanced eco-printing and shibori combinations
In Leaf and String, we combine eco-printing with traditional and experimental shibori techniques, to create complex patterns on clothing and fabric.
This course is divided into 4 weeks, and each week you will learn 2-3 techniques for combining shibori and eco-printing. You will be encouraged to ‘choose your own adventure’ – each lesson is just a starting point, and you will be able to choose which fabric, mordants, leaves and dyes to combine, to create your own individual results. Alongside the video demonstrations, there will be suggestions each week for variations to try.
This is an advanced course. It will be assumed that you already know how to mordant fabric, choose leaves, eco-print, and create dye baths. I recommend that you only enroll if you have completed at least my Iso Dye Club or Intro to Cotton ecourses, read my ebook Gum Leaf Alchemy and/or have a strong personal eco-printing practice.
You will have ongoing access to all the lessons and videos for as long as the course exists. So if you want to come back to it later, no worries!
This course is offered with variable pricing levels – read more under the ‘Variable Pricing’ tab, then choose a price with your heart.
Please note that all prices are in Australian Dollars. If you live outside Australia, head here to convert them into your currency before you decide which level to go with.
