I acknowledge the indigenous people and all kindreds of the past, present and emerging on this land of the Djabugay people. I come from a place of honour and deep love.
I acknowledge the many First Nations past and present that inhabit this territory in Northern Canada called the Yukon. I respect them and their ways. I have always admired and appreciated how they live in harmony with the land they call home.
I acknowledge that all lands are sacred, for the Earth provides for us for everything we need. As a nomad soul I’ve only settled to the UK after 30+ years of roaming from continent to continent. I come from a deeply dark place yet years of experiences shaped me to a patron of love and light which I intend to pass onto our son.
I have just enrolled in this course. I live in eastern NC now but have lived in many US states. I acknowledge and honor all Native American Indian tribes that inhabited these United States long before me. North Carolina happens to have the largest American Indian population east of the Mississippi River. I am so excited to be learning these techniques. I have followed you on IG for some time and am always in awe of your eco printed fabrics and clothing.
