Come and play with plants on paper! In this workshop we will explore different methods for eco-printing on paper. We will talk a bit about which paper and plants work best, but most of the day will be very practical. We’ll create stacked and rolled bundles, use leaves and flowers, and experiment with dye baths and rust. Throughout the day we will be unwrapping bundles and seeing what beauty has emerged. You will take home a wide variety of paper eco-prints, and more importantly the knowledge and confidence to keep experimenting on your own.
This will be an intimate gathering of up to 4 people. We’ll work from my (covered) front verandah and wander around my garden collecting different leaves and flowers. The workshop will go ahead in any weather, but in the case of a heatwave or torrential rain you will have the option to rebook for a later date.
I will provide all paper and plant materials. However, you are welcome to bring along more of either that you wish to experiment with.
