Capture the beauty of nature on paper.
Maybe you’ve dabbled in eco-printing on paper, but the results weren’t what you hoped for.
Maybe you have yet to try it, and you’d love someone to hold your hand while you jump in.
Or maybe you just want to expand your understanding and your techniques, or connect with other eco-printers working with paper.
🌿
Eco-printing on paper doesn’t need to be mysterious, complicated or frustrating.
Instead, let’s make it simple, joyful and successful ✨✨
🌿
EPOP101 is for you if:
- You want inspiration and accountability to get started with eco-printing on paper, or to deepen your practice.
- You’re overwhelmed by all the different variables – paper, leaves, cooking time, boiling vs steaming, wrapping tightly vs loosely, and I could go on!
- You want to be able to unwrap eco-print bundles and feel confident about finding something beautiful inside. No more throwing random leaves on paper and hoping for the best!
🌿
This course is organised into 4 weeks of pre-recorded lessons, so you can join in from any timezone. You’ll have ongoing access for many years, so you can move through it at your own pace.

I’m halfway through Gumnut Magic’s EPOP101 course and have enjoyed every part of it so far. The course structure is well designed and the written notes and videos are very clear. It’s great to have all the information presented simply and clearly in logical and manageable lessons.
I had been a bit overwhelmed previously with so much information on the internet about eco-dyeing and didn’t really know where to start, but this step-by-step course has been a great introduction for me. Definitely read the introduction and do the preparation steps before starting lesson 1. Every exercise has produced interesting results and given me the confidence to experiment further.

I’ve really enjoyed Louise’s Eco Printing on Paper course so far. With just one lesson to go, I’ve already learned so much. The lessons present a lot of information, but because they are so well organized and thought out, it doesn’t feel overwhelming. I also enjoy the private class Facebook group where we share our successes and failure, and get encouragement and suggestions from Louise.

This class is fantastic and I’m just beginning. I have taken a number of art related on-line classes and Louise’s class is too-notch. She is clear, motivational, responsive and talented. Not only am I learning new things, I am creating beautiful things from the nature in my own yard.

I had done a little bit of ecoprinting on paper before I started Louise’s course. I’m really learning a lot from following her clear instructions and systematic approach. Her videos are easy to follow and show fantastic results to inspire me. I like the way the course is structured over 4 weeks in manageable chunks. I’m looking forward to completing week 3 lessons.

This course was just wonderful. Louise is an excellent teacher, great instructions, great clarity, great encouragement and understanding. I have taken many classes in my life and I have already signed up for two more courses from Louise/GumNutMagic. I have been dyeing for 5-6 years and there is always something new to try, new inspirations to catch.
Thank you for your dedication to playing with nature, your ability to encourage without pressure, your inspiring life style!

I have been eco printing on fabric for many years and paper for the past year or so. This course offered clear instruction, interesting techniques, and good suggestions for materials and alternatives. I really enjoyed trying out the exercises, sharing and getting feedback, and seeing what others created. Louise was prompt and consistent in responding to replies and questions.
