Let’s get freaky, with advanced eco-printing and shibori combinations
If you already know how to eco-print and are asking ‘what’s next?’, this is the course for you!!Â
🧶
In Leaf and String, we combine eco-printing with traditional and experimental shibori techniques, to create complex patterns on clothing and fabric. You will be encouraged to ‘choose your own adventure’ – each lesson is just a starting point, and you will be able to choose which fabric, mordants, leaves and dyes to combine, to create your own individual results. Alongside the video demonstrations, there will be suggestions each week for variations to try.
This is an advanced course. It will be assumed that you already know how to mordant fabric, choose leaves, eco-print, and create dye baths. I recommend that you only enroll if you have completed at least my Iso Dye Club or Intro to Cotton ecourses, read my ebook Gum Leaf Alchemy and/or have a strong personal eco-printing practice.
🧶
